According to Pakistani media sources, the schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has already been shared with member countries. The ICC’s visit will be a chance to assess the logistical and organisational preparations for the event. An official function on November 11 will feature prominent personalities, including cricketers, who are expected to attend.

Group details and India’s participation

According to the proposed schedule, Pakistan is placed in Group A with India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B includes England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan. The BCCI awaits approval from the Indian government before confirming India’s participation in matches held in Pakistan.

India to play in Lahore

According to the tentative schedule, India is set to play their matches in Lahore. India will kick off their campaign on February 20, facing Bangladesh in Lahore. Following this, they’ll meet in New Zealand on February 23 at the same venue. The much-anticipated clash between archrivals India and Pakistan is set for March 1 in Lahore.

Match venues and schedule

The Champions Trophy is scheduled from February 19 to March 9, with March 10 reserved as a backup day. Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi will host the matches, with Lahore hosting seven matches, including the final. Karachi will host the opening match and one semi-final, while Rawalpindi will stage five matches, including the other semi-final. The semi-finals are slated for March 5 and 6, with the final in Lahore on March 9.
