In December 2022, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant got hurt badly when his car hit a breaker. It took him a lot of time to recover and he couldn’t play for Indian team for almost 18 months. The cricketer always shared his health update with his fans and well-wishers.
On December 2022, Pant’s car caught fire when it hit the divider. However, Rishabh escaped and was left with serious injuries. It took him a year to recover and to get back in shape. Post getting better, he started practicing and was also seen attending India’s matches.
He worked on his fitness and skills and got back to Indian team. He was seen playing for Delhi team in the Indian Premiere league (IPL). He was also a part of the Indian Test squad, where he played well.

In August 2023, Pant gave an interview to Star Sports, and talked about his injury and recovery. He said, “First time in my life I had a feeling of letting it go. I felt my time in this world was over. Till the time I start playing cricket, I don’t want to plan much for the future.”
He further added, “I asked the doctor how long it would take for me to recover. I told him that everybody is speaking different things, but you will give me the most clarity about it. He said it would take 16 to 18 months. I told the doctor that whatever timeline he gave me, I would reduce six months from it.”
