Bangladesh cricket team pacer Taskin Ahmed has flagged the lack of ‘better wickets at home’ as one of the main reason for the team’s defeats. After losing the IND vs BAN Test series 0-2, the side has now let the T20I series slip out of their hands as well, with India having taken a 2-0 lead. Taskin echoed skipper Najmul Shanto’s remarks on pitches in Bangladesh that he had made earlier.

Speaking to reporters after the loss in New Delhi, Taskin Ahmed stressed for the need to have better pitches at home in order to prepare for posting high totals. He admitted that while they players needed to improve their skills, it was imperative for the BCB to intervene in the matter of ‘good wickets’ back at home.
