Rohit Sharma w RCB?

Will we see Rohit Sharma part ways with his beloved Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise? Will the five-time IPL-winning captain join alleged ‘rivals’ – the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)? Well, Insidesport exclusively asked the RCB fans themselves, who were surprisingly left divided on the prospects of Rohit joining their Red and Gold Brigade.

Rohit Sharma to RCB? Fans voice their opinions!

Insidesport asked RCB fans on Bengaluru streets if they really want Rohit Sharma to join hands with Virat Kohli in RCB. As many as 20 people volunteered for the question and as many as 12 were in favour of seeing the Hitman exchange his Mumbai Indians (MI) loyalty to RCB. Remarkable, the “No!” answers were also significant, with eight people voicing that they don’t want the Indian Test and ODI skipper in the RCB franchise.

Noticeably, Rohit was himself seen involved in a fun banter on the topic of switching IPL franchise. “Where do you want me to go?,” asked Rohit to the fran, who immediately suggested that Rohit join RCB. Rohit has been an integral part of Mumbai Indians (MI) since the team’s inception in 2008. Under his leadership, the franchise has clinched five IPL titles, making them one of the join-most successful teams in the tournament’s history. However, the recent downturn in the team’s fortunes, coupled with the change in captaincy, has left everyone guessing about Rohit’s future. Will MI retain Rohit and continue his legacy at the franchise? Well, we will have an answer by October 31!
