The Indian Premier Kabaddi League (IPKL) will launch its inaugural season on which will start from October 4, featuring eight teams in the tournament. The competition will run from October 4 to October 19 at the Tau Devi Lal Indoor Stadium in Panchkula.
On Tuesday, three of the franchise teams for the inaugural IPKL—the Haryana Hurricane, Rajasthan Rulers, and Delhi Dragons—revealed their captains.
What is Indian Premier Kabaddi League?
The Indian Premier Kabaddi League is the domestic league of India where star kabaddi players will feature in the inaugural season.
The legendary player Manjeet Chillar is the Brand Ambassador for the IPKL 2024.
During the announcement of the latest leeague, Manjeet Chillar said, “I’m incredibly excited for the first season and can’t wait to see the intense matches and thrilling drama on the mat. Kabaddi is a game native to Indian soil, and it gives me immense pleasure to see it receiving such a positive response and growing following in the country.”
